MUSIC AND PROGRAMMING

Tired of Grand Piano 1 sound and a little bit of Haendel, this evening I've re-experienced the sensations of the Grand Piano 2 (wow!) sound of the Clavinova CLP-170. I did a musical improvisation over a cool tune of the Innerprise's Battle Squadron Amiga game. I'm proud of this 7 minutes of genuine improvisation, I think the Grand Piano 2 sounds very nice!

New Allegro 4.4 PSP:

• Updated to the official Allegro 4.4 SVN Rev. 13323.
• Migrated to the Cmake build system.
• Supported the loadpng and the jpgalleg addons.
• All the Allegro examples and demos are build as .PRX files (some will not work...).
• Added the mouse driver. Thanks to sauron_le_noir for implementing it.

The recommended way to build PSP Allegro from the shell prompt:

New Allegro 4.3.10plus PSP version with some fixes and additions:

• Updated to the official Allegro 4.3.10plus SVN Rev. 11485
• Fixed a problem in the FLIC module. Now the intro video of the Allegro shooter demo don't crash the game.

Good news about Allegro PSP,
The library is almost totally ported to the PSP console. The latest additions are:

• Support for 8 bpp mode. The PSP don't support natively this mode. To implement this color depth we set the Allegro screen bitmap like a palettized texture outside the PSP display and, for every draw primitive executed onto it, a texture mapping onto the PSP display is made.
